3 days per week, 7a-7p / Rotating Weekends
Job SummaryAs a Registered Nurse RN Acute Inpatient, you will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in line with department requirements and state standards. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team, provide personalized and compassionate care, act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, and embody the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s); ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient’s medical record; administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response.
- Respond promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipate patient needs, and resolve them.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow‑up measures, translating complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, obtained within two years of employment start date.
- Minimum one year of acute‑care experience.
