American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with CST certification for a busy surgical unit performing a wide range of procedures including ortho, neuro, and trauma cases.

• Operating Room setting with 11 ORs and 1 endo suite
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 11 RNs, and 11 techs; night shift includes 1 nurse and 1 tech
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Uses OR equipment including multiple types of ortho beds and 4 surgical robots
• EMR:
  Meditech
• Schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-5:00 PM
• No floating required
• Rotating weekend call required

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
• CST certification required
• BLS certification required
• BSN and CNOR preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR experience required
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required

• Perform surgical procedures including general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, trauma, neurosurgery, spine, ENT, and bariatrics
• Team environment with high energy and motivated staff
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Unit policies and guidelines available via Policy Stat
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered
