Cornerstone Medical is seeking dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) for a rewarding contract opportunity at a State Supported Living Center in Corpus Christi TX, a specialized facility serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This center supports approximately 190-209 residents, providing 24-hour residential care, comprehensive behavioral treatment, and specialized medical services. The patient population includes adults ages 18 to 77 with complex medical and behavioral needs—making this a meaningful and impactful nursing opportunity.

• Openings: 6 LVNs
• Shifts:
  
  6am - 2:30pm and 2:00 PM - 10:30pm
• Schedule:
  
  Rotating schedule with every 3rd weekend off
• Contract Length:
  Minimum 24 weeks
• Pay Rate: $42.00/hr for any shift worked during the week | $44.00/hr for any shift worked during the weekend

Under the supervision of the Unit RN and Nurse Manager, the LVN will provide direct patient care and clinical support in a structured, team-based environment.

• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Provide patient education regarding medications and care plans
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation
• Support residents with complex medical needs
• Perform computer-based charting (training provided)
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care

• Valid photo
• Current Texas LVN license
• Current CPR certification
• TB documentation
• Ability to pass:
  Urine drug screen
• Background check
• FBI fingerprinting
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 1 year LVN experience (2+ years preferred)
• Experience in direct patient care settings
• Clinical
  
  Skills:
  
  Gastrostomy tubes / enteral feedings
• Foley catheter care
• Tracheostomy care
• Other advanced nursing skills:
  Medication administration's, via trach, g-tube, po, sl, sub-q, IM, IV, topical, NG- tube, ztrack, and more
