Travel OR RN – Operating Room

Corpus Christi, TX | Acute Care

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM with mandatory call

• Provide direct 1:1 perioperative nursing care in an active surgical suite performing neurosurgery, urology, general surgery, colorectal, plastics, podiatry, ENT, and orthopedic procedures
• Operate and assist with specialized surgical equipment including Brain Lab navigation, da Vinci robotic system, and surgical microscopes
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Participate in mandatory on-call shifts based on unit needs, including weekday call (3:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and weekend call (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Float to the Bay Area OR as needed
• Adhere to hospital surgical services policies and dress code requirements, including facility-provided scrubs

• Active RN licensure in the state of Texas or compact eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of operating room nursing experience
• Ability to fulfill mandatory call obligations, including weekday and weekend on-call shifts

• Experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in addition to RN credentials
• Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgery, particularly da Vinci systems
• Experience with Brain Lab navigation or surgical microscope equipment
• Detail-oriented, motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment

• Work in a dynamic, multi-specialty OR environment with exposure to a broad range of advanced surgical procedures and cutting-edge technology
