Travel RN – Neuro/Ortho (Nights)

Corpus Christi, Texas

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

• Provide direct patient care on a 25-bed Neuro/Ortho unit with a patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1
• Operate and manage equipment including Baxter IV pumps, KCI wound vacs, and SCD pumps
• Document and manage patient records using Meditech EMR
• Manage chest tubes and monitor patients requiring non-titrated Cardizem and Amiodarone drips
• Manage weight-based heparin drips in accordance with unit protocols
• Apply general med/surg competencies while supporting a collaborative night shift team

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Telemetry nursing experience
• Familiarity with chest tube management and vasoactive/anticoagulant drip management

• Join a well-staffed unit with an experienced team of 40+ staff members and access to modern clinical equipment
• Work a consistent 13-week night shift schedule in a supportive Neuro/Ortho environment with clear unit guidelines and dress code standards (royal blue scrubs)
