Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio across a 12-bed unit
- Perform and assist with critical procedures including STEMI response, Stroke/TPA administration, and RSI
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including ER Techs and unit support staff during night shift hours
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using the facility's EMR system
- Demonstrate strong clinical competency in Neuro and Cardiac emergency presentations
- Active RN license valid for practice in Texas
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience as a Registered Nurse
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- ENPC or PALS certification required
- TNCC certification required
- CPI certification required
- Strong background in Neuro and Cardiac emergency nursing
- Experience in high-volume, high-acuity emergency department environments
- Comfort with rapid patient throughput and time-sensitive clinical decision-making
