Job Title: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse Mids
Location: Corpus Christi, TX
Job Description: Join our team as a Behavioral Health RN, providing vital care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Work mid shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with potential for 16 hour shifts. Enjoy every other weekend off in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and manage treatments.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Supervise healthcare staff.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and patients.
- Execute emergency procedures, including CPR.
- Follow Safe Use of Restraint (SUR) protocols.
- Active Texas RN License or Nurse Licensure Compact eligibility.
- Current CPR certification.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
- Experience in mental health and developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong understanding of nursing regulations and procedures.
- Includes 2 weeks of education and 2 weeks of on the job training.
- Low patient ratios, adjusted by patient needs.
- Agency nurses may float between units.
- COVID 19 vaccination required.
