Laboratory Technician, Petroleum – Corpus Christi, Texas

Intertek’s Caleb Brett team is actively seeking a Petroleum Laboratory Technician to join our Corpus Christi, TX facility. This position offers a versatile career in the Inspection and Testing business within the ATIC industry.

• Performs numerous chemical and physical tests based on ASTM methods or accepted industry standards in multiple test areas
• Assist with equipment calibration, maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Cleans glassware and test equipment
• Assist with preparing reagents as needed
• Records data on appropriate data sheets and reports data to LIMS system
• Maintain quality records, control charts, and lab supply inventories
• Comply with safety, quality and housekeeping requirements
• Participate in cross training as needed

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) preferred
• Availability to work overtime as business needs dictate
• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record required
• Minimum one year experience as a main‑floor lab technician

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of at least one semester of college‑level chemistry and/or prior laboratory experience
• GC experience is a plus
