Rope Access RT Technicians - Corpus Christi, TX

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking certified Rope Access RT Technicians located in the Corpus Christi, TX area for full‑time nested positions starting immediately. Competitive rates and comprehensive benefits.

The RT Technician performs NDT operations and evaluates results of NDT tests as certified by Mistras Services written practices to routine NDT methods. They inspect piping, tanks, and vessels using radiography. Level 2 Certification in CR is preferred. Rope access certification is required.

• Train RT assistant, run the film and grade the film per specific procedures directed by the customer.
• Set up and calibrate equipment, interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards and specifications.
• Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods, exercise assigned responsibility for on‑the‑job training and guidance of trainees and NDT Level I personnel.
• Organize and report the results of NDT tests.
• Generate NDT data, organize data, and report findings. Evaluate data for disposition.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or college credits preferred.
• Current ASNT NDE Level II certificate in the NDT method responsible (RT); adequate knowledge in the NDE method responsible.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proven ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice.
• Proven ability to prioritize and complete work assignments by specific deadlines.
• Proven ability to follow and communicate precise directions and procedures of the customer on the project.
• Ability to generate technical data orally, in writing, and electronically as required and appropriate.

• Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.
