NDT Operators - 1st & 2nd shift — $22–$25/hr + $1.50 night differential, OT after 8 hours, 5×12 schedule, and company‑provided training/recertification. We are seeking NDT Operators to perform non‑destructive testing and inspection of industrial materials and products. The ideal candidate has previous hands‑on NDT/NDE experience and experience working with one or more inspection methods, including Electromagnetic Inspection (EMI), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT/MPI).
Candidates with varying levels of NDT experience will be considered. Certifications are not required at hire, and training and recertification will be provided on company‑specific equipment, procedures, and inspection methods.
This is a hands‑on position for someone with strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast‑paced industrial environment.
Schedule & Compensation1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM — 2 openings
2nd Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM — 5 openings
Schedule:
5 days per week / 12‑hour shifts
Pay: $20–$25/hour, depending on experience
2nd Shift Differential: +$1.50/hour
Overtime:
Paid after 8 hours worked
Training:
Approximately 1 month on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift for 2nd‑shift hires
- Operate and monitor NDT inspection equipment, including EMI, UT, and Magnetic Particle (MT/MPI) equipment.
- Set up and perform inspections according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Identify and evaluate material irregularities, including cracks, corrosion, discontinuities, and wall‑thickness variations.
- Perform manual UT prove‑up inspections to verify and document material indications when required.
- Accurately record inspection results, test data, and daily inspection information.
- Mark, identify, and sort materials based on inspection results.
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
- Follow established safety, quality, and inspection procedures.
- Previous NDT/NDE experience preferred; candidates with varying levels of experience will be considered.
- Hands‑on experience with one or more NDT methods, including:
- Electromagnetic Inspection (EMI)
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Magnetic Particle Testing (MT/MPI)
- Other relevant NDT/NDE methods
- Ability to learn and follow technical inspection procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document inspection results.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read and follow technical procedures.
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
- Ability to work extended 12‑hour shifts.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and accuracy.
Approximately 1 month of training on 1st shift before transitioning to the assigned shift, as applicable.
Company‑provided training and recertification as needed.
