Senior Research and Evaluation Analyst
Education/Certification:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in education, psychology, statistics, or related field or its equivalent. Three (3) plus years of experience with measurement, research design and implementation, evaluation strategies, program evaluation, statistics, and computer applications related to research and evaluation. One (1) year of experience in developing and managing GIS Databases Preferred:
Doctorate Degree from an accredited college or university in education, psychology, statistics, or related field or its equivalent. Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in education, psychology, statistics, or related field or its equivalent.
Special Knowledge/
Skills:
Three (3) or more years conducting larger scale research and evaluation projects;
Two (2) years or more having full responsibility for major research and evaluation projects or equivalent;
Proficient communication skills that maximize the SREA's ability to communicate research and evaluation processes and results in a form understandable to target audiences;
Effective interpersonal skills that maximize the SREA's ability to work with staff, vendors and others to develop research and evaluation plans, implement them and report the results;
Possesses an in-depth knowledge of data structures and data analysis strategies that will maximize the validity and reliability of data as well as the results; and Technical knowledge of statistical programs and other tools used to conduct quality research and evaluation. Requires knowledge of mapping applications including open-source-QGIS, Google Maps, and Google Earth Requires knowledge of GIS/ESRI software and application programming languages.
Familiarity with ESRI Apps and ESRI App Builders - ArcGIS Story Maps, ArcGIS Survey
123, ArcGIS Collector, ArcGIS App Studio, and ArcGIS Web App Builder Technology Proficiency Level 3 plus several level 4 proficiencies are required:
Proficient in job-related student and financial systems applications;
Proficient in solving simple technology issues;
Proficient in electronic file management;
Proficient In use of e-mail;
Proficient in integrating technology in curriculum, instruction, and assessment;
Proficient in server file and printer resources; CCISD Acceptable Use Policy and Technical Ethics/Etiquette Proficient in specialized statistical programs and other tools used to conduct research and evaluation
Function:
The Senior Research and Evaluation Analyst (SREA) is primarily responsible for developing and implementing research and evaluation strategies that effectively evaluate District programs, policies and processes. To accomplish this mission, the SREA will conceptualize, design and conduct applied research/evaluation studies related to CCISD Initiatives, federal, state and private grant programs, local data requests, Teacher Incentive Allotment and answer basic research and evaluation questions generated by the Board of Trustees, CCISD administration and staff and other information users who request information.
