Overview
Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The role is a Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate in pawn store locations nationwide, supporting customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business.
Hourly rate: $11.50 to $14.50 per hour. Earned wage access and commission opportunities are available.

We are seeking entry-level, part-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, and assists with customer inquiries and problem resolution. The role involves working with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
The Part-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate earns an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. The final pay depends on factors such as work location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities- Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
- Performs non-management open/close procedures.
- Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
- Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Handles all cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
- Answers incoming calls per company standards.
- Effectively communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers; collaborates to create a positive customer experience.
- Completes assigned training and performs other related duties as needed.
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be willing and able to stand for extended periods and perform required duties (in accordance with law).
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- May assist customers on exterior areas of the property; capable of retrieving products stored in exterior storage areas.
- Minimum Age: 18 years old
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Strong desire to serve customers and work in a team-oriented environment; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations; cash handling experience preferred.
- Flexibility to work at multiple locations as needed; ability to work a retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and standard office machines.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit from personal performance. More details are provided during the interview process.
