Retail Sales Associate - Part Time

Compensation

$11.50 to $14.50 per hour, plus commission up to 8% on transactions.

Entry‑level, part‑time sales associate in pawn store locations nationwide. Partners with store staff to provide customer service on lending and retail sides of the business, greeting, engaging, and interacting with customers in a positive and professional manner, processing sales, loans, and other transactions.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Keeps sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise display.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Effectively communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Successfully completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification if required.
• May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule based on business needs, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Proprietary commission incentive plan to earn 2-8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance.
