What you’ll be doing
  • Identify, develop and qualify leads within your territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold‑calling, partner‑selling, lead‑generation campaigns and modern social selling techniques.
  • Gain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets.
  • Retain, manage and grow the existing customer base.
  • Coordinate with support partners to educate and excite customers about leveraging innovative business solutions.
  • Proactively establish, build and maintain relationships with key decision makers.
  • Effectively present and create multi‑product solution opportunities.
  • Demonstrate a knowledgeable understanding of wireless and mobility products and integrated software solutions to promote and position products including Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP and Google platforms.
  • Track and report progress through consistent use of a variety of sales‑force automation tools.

What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work or military experience.
  • Experience in outside sales, prospecting and negotiation.
  • Willingness to work in a mobile model with up to approximately 50% travel.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree – Associate or Bachelor’s, or relevant certifications/college courses.
  • Two or more years of business‑to‑business or outside sales experience, including acquisition and cold‑calling.
  • Technology sales experience, e.g., SaaS, CRM, Sales Force, or other client‑management tools, social media.
  • Strong presentation skills in face‑to‑face and virtual environments.
  • Experience building and maintaining business relationships at all client levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, self‑directed, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and accomplish goals.
  • Ability to implement feedback and tailor your approach to succeed.
Where you’ll be working

This mobile role primarily involves working from customer or field locations, with occasional visits to Verizon sites for in‑person training and meetings.
