Position Summary
Labatt Food Service seeks a Produce Sales & Marketing Specialist to buy and sell fresh produce through the company’s sales force. The role involves learning all aspects of the produce business, including technical product knowledge from growing regions worldwide, sourcing product from manufacturers and brokers, and selling produce products through sales representatives to a large customer base. The position works directly with the Produce Manager and offers an opportunity to learn a complete P&L performance measurement for separate business lines.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop technical product expertise on all produce vendor lines.
Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to grow these lines through the existing 3500+ company customers.
QualificationsCollege degree in RHIM, Marketing, or a business‑related field (Bachelor’s degree required).
Food service and/or produce experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and with confidence to food service directors, chefs, managers, and owners through one‑on‑one meetings, presentations, and correspondence.
Strong interpersonal skills and good time‑management skills.
Microsoft Office expertise mandatory.
Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
