Pay

$11.50 to $14.50 per hour.

Earn up to 8% on sales transactions, which could average an additional $1.33 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time retail sales associates for nationwide pawn store locations. The Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. They greet, engage, and interact with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, working with jewelry, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

This role offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Actual pay will depend on work location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per policy.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform tasks for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to serve customers and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Flexible to work multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and common office equipment.

The commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers can earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Details are provided during the interview.
