Job Summary

This position is responsible for communicating with customers in a positive, caring, and timely manner to enhance customer relations while maintaining accurate and efficient processing of all parts transactions.

The incumbent is expected to model the following daily practices:

• Completes all parts transactions for internal/external customers accurately, timely, and supportively to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Participates in all sales programs sponsored by Holt and other suppliers that promote sales through incentives and meets or exceeds specified objectives.
• Keeps products information systems current and updates new product information.
• Assumes the after‑hour call‑out rotation to assist customers as needed.
• Performs other duties assigned.

• Is proficient with computers; experience with a computerized parts management system highly desired.
• Can work in a fast‑paced environment.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of customer service experience required; parts store experience highly desired.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to obtain forklift certification.

• Involves extended periods in a stationary position; occasional movement within office to access equipment and files.
• Must communicate accurately with others.
• Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
• Occasionally moves materials or equipment weighing up to 10 lbs.

• Generally performed in a professional office environment.
• Frequently works at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
