As a Security Officer - Flex Armed Rapid Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX

You will respond to concerns, document key observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering strong customer service. This role requires Level III Armed Certification in Texas and a professional, integrity‑driven approach.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors at a government location by following Allied Universal protocols, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct armed patrols on foot and/or by vehicle throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and support security‑related coverage.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and report policy violations through the established chain of command.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, coordinating with onsite personnel and/or local public agencies when directed.
  • Complete accurate written reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations and/or hazards to site representatives in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
