As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet tenants and visitors, communicate clearly, and report concerns with professionalism.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing alarms, suspicious activity, and tenant concerns, and escalating issues through the chain of command as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access issues.

+ Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials as required, managing visitor check-in processes, and documenting deliveries and contractor activity per site instructions.

+ Complete detailed reports and logs, including incident reports and patrol observations, and communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal leadership and/or property management.

* + Have 1+ years of security experience.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A Guard Card/license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
