Overnight Security Attendant

Patrols the buildings and grounds of the Association, maintains records of who enters or leaves the property at a front desk or front gate, keeps track of visitor check‑in and check‑out, monitors incoming deliveries, and assists guests with information and directions.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Respond to alarms and emergency situations promptly and appropriately.
• Conduct routine patrols to identify irregularities and inspect security systems, protective devices, and fire control equipment.
• Greet and assist incoming guests and tenants, providing information about the site and surrounding area as needed.
• Monitor and secure premises to prevent theft, property damage, violence, and violations of safety or site rules.
• Support fire prevention, safety compliance, maintenance tasks, and parking/traffic enforcement as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation: $14.50/hour; direct experience highly considered.

Work Type: Permanent PT position, 28 hours weekly. A flexible schedule is desirable.

• Knowledge of state or local governmental safety requirements.
• Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.
• Professional customer service skills.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, detail‑oriented, and a team player.
• Interpretation and completion of verbal and/or written instructions at a proficient level.
• Time management and time‑critical prioritization skills.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years of directly related or closely related experience.

• Location specific license.

• Non‑typical office environment (frequent standing, walking, talking, etc.), both inside activities and outside activities.
• Overtime required (on‑call, weekends, 24 hr emergency, etc.).
