C. Penney -  - Responsibilities:
Detect theft, fraud, and suspicious activity and collect investigative evidence;
Conduct investigations and document all stages of apprehensions and outcomes;
Perform external interviews of customers and contractors suspected of theft in accordance with law and policy;
Report suspected fraud and policy violations to Asset Protection and store leadership;
Maintain records of apprehensions, witness statements, evidence, and disposition of recovered merchandise;
Travel to other stores as required for investigations;
Attend court hearings and liaise with local law enforcement as needed;
Provide safety and hazard mitigation support by walking the store and addressing issues with leadership;
Assist with incident investigations and audits as needed;
Support store leadership during critical incidents and business disruptions
