Security Officer TWIC Screening

Location:

Corpus Christi, TX. You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will help manage access control, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site access requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, access irregularities, and/or conditions that could require a security-related response.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining awareness of restricted areas, following key and badge control procedures, and reporting policy violations or suspicious behavior promptly.
Minimum Requirements
  • Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
