Municipal Police Officer

Within the Directorate of Prevention and Security, under the authority of the Chief of Service of the Municipal Police, in liaison with the Director of Security and Prevention as well as the delegated official for security, you will enforce the administrative and judicial powers of police delegated by the Mayor. You will strengthen the relationship of proximity with the Vernolienne population and its merchants while ensuring public safety and tranquility.

As an agent of the city of Verneuil sur Seine, you will intervene exclusively on its communal territory. You will be based within a 400m² Operational Police Center. You will join a team of municipal police officers in full evolution, including a Urban Supervision Center and a public thoroughfare surveillance service (ASVP). The municipality has made security, safety, and prevention a priority through the increase of field personnel and the provision of individual and collective operational equipment.

Main duties include: ensuring the safety and security of property and persons, securing and maintaining order during events or in gathering places, preventing acts of mischief (damage, theft), maintaining public tranquility and cleanliness, enforcing the decisions and ordinances of the Mayor as well as regulations on security, tranquility, cleanliness, and order, and recording all infractions within the competence of the municipal police officer.

Equipment provided includes individual protective gear, a portable geolocated radio, an individual pedestrian camera, and category B and D weaponry (semi-automatic pistol, telescopic baton, or Tonfa, tear gas grenade), sports sessions and professional intervention technical gestures (GTPI), and dojo and sports equipment at the post.

- Grade of Guardian-Brigade or Brigade Chief Principal, - 37.5 hours weekly, organized in 2 work cycles, - Maximum 10-hour work amplitude, - Work in the first half of the evening and on Saturdays, - 2 weeks of on-call duty per month.

• Statutory remuneration + special function allowance (fixed and variable parts),
• Payment of overtime hours,
• Annual bonus: €1,462 gross.

• 25 annual leave days and 14 RTT

• Winner of the competition, detached path or holder,
• Guardian-Brigade of municipal police or Brigade Chief Principal,
• Sports aptitudes and good physical condition,
• Demonstrate relational and writing skills, be rigorous and available,
• Driving license B mandatory,
• Driving license A preferred.
