Duties
* Manage and adjudicate the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) clearance program, validating background investigations and continuous evaluation protocols per AR 380-67.
* Align personnel access controls with physical, industrial, and information security safeguards across CCAD facilities.
* Evaluate derogatory data and foreign travel risks to recommend administrative mitigations or security actions to the Command.
* Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in personnel and contractor access to protect critical depot operations and sensitive mission details.
* Provide oversight of an office operations and serve as Site Security Manager for Real Time Automated Personnel Identification System (RAPIDS). Requirements Conditions of employment
* Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
* This is an obligated position. You will be asked to sign an agreement acknowledging that you are aware of the obligation and willing to be displaced under reduction in force procedures upon the return of the former incumbent.
* This position requires the incumbent obtain the following core SPeD Certification:
Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) within their first two years of employment.
* This position requires the incumbent to be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required. Qualifications Who May Apply:

Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes reviewing security questionnaires (such as the SF-86) for completeness and accuracy; initiating, reviewing, and tracking requests for personnel security investigations and clearances using automated systems like the Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP); verifying security clearance and access eligibility through databases and other official means; and assisting employees and managers with the completion of security forms and briefing/debriefing requirements.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR
Education:
Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as:
Criminal Justice / Criminology, Homeland Security / National Security Studies, Business Administration / Management. OR Combination of
Education and Experience:
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18.
Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

* Program Security
* Risk Assessment and Management Time in Grade Requirement:
