Field Service Technician - South Texas (Road Warrior Role)

Short Term Project | March-April • $25/hr + Paid Travel | Contract

We are hiring a Field Service Technician for a short‑term, store‑by‑store retail deployment project across South Texas
, including:
Laredo, Corpus Christi, Brownsville, Harlingen, McAllen, Mission, and Eagle Pass
.

Do NOT apply if:

• You have not reliable transportation
• You are not willing to travel across the South Texas region listed above

You will travel to assigned retail stores and complete payment device hardware upgrades following a step‑by‑step playbook.

• Replace legacy PIN pads with new M450 units
• Route and secure cabling
• Test device functionality with store leadership
• Complete verification forms and upload documentation
• Capture required photos at each register

• PC Technician or field service experience
• Strong troubleshooting and installation skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Cable management experience preferred
• Must pass a 7‑year lived background check

Bring your own: screwdriver set, box cutter, tamper proof bit set, wire cutters

Expensed: Velcro straps, zip ties, mounting tape, alcohol wipes

Mileage paid for travel over 50 miles or 1+ hour

Hotel covered for longer routes

Per diem available for approved overnight stays

This is a contract position based out of Corpus Christi, TX.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Corpus Christi, TX.
