Salary$17 – $21 per hour, paid weekly, commensurate with experience and qualifications

- Assist a construction crew on various projects within Texas
- Read utility locates, coordinate potholing, and ensure the worksite is safe
- Underground conduit, mounting devices, install poles, and drill caissons
- Ensure all materials and equipment needed are available before beginning work
- Install required equipment, wire devices, troubleshoot, and integrate equipment
- Assist workers engaged in construction activities using hand tools and equipment
- Eligibility for coverage under the company’s commercial auto insurance policy (drivers 23 years or older with a valid TX driver’s license)
- 2+ years of commercial and highway construction industry experience, recent experience erecting highway signage/lighting and traffic signals/electrical work
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Readiness to work occasional to frequent overtime
- Basic electrical knowledge or willingness to learn; electrical certifications are a plus
- CDL license is a plus but not required
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as a backhoe, bucket truck, and boom truck
- Knowledge of standard practices, materials, tools, and equipment of the electrical and construction trade
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions involved in electrical and construction work
- Ability to read and interpret typical wiring diagrams
- Ability to work from moderate heights and outdoors for extended periods, occasionally under adverse weather conditions
- Skill in the use and care of tools, equipment, and materials employed in the work
- Reliable transportation (public transportation not available at the site)
- Eligibility for coverage under the company’s commercial auto insurance policy (drivers 23 years or older, valid TX driver’s license)
- Passenger Vehicles and motor‑driven equipment will be subject to a Motor Vehicle Record Check; satisfactory driving records are required
- Pass a pre‑employment drug screen; safety‑impact employees subject to additional testing during employment
- Criminal background check; unsatisfactory report makes applicant ineligible
- Provide documents establishing identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of hire date; see local Texas Workforce Commission office or http://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below)./
