Track Vehicle Repairer Position

Support the Army National Guard by maintaining track vehicles and supervising related repairs. Key duties include servicing diesel power plants, fuel and electrical systems, and driving components. Training will expand mechanical knowledge across motorized track vehicle components such as carburetors, transmissions, diesel power plants/packs, and electrical systems.

• Repair diesel power plants/packs, compression ignition engine fuel systems, and compression ignition air induction systems
• Fix vehicle air cooling systems, vehicle liquid cooling systems, track hull electrical systems, and automatic transmission assemblies
• Service track vehicle cross-drive transmission assemblies, transfer assemblies, and hydraulic brake systems

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
• Must meet citizenship requirements

Job training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, covering classroom and field instruction. Participants earn a regular paycheck and qualify for tuition assistance during their training.
