HVAC Data Center Mechanical Service Tradesman

Overview

Johnson Controls, a leading building technology OEM for healthcare, manufacturing, higher education, K12, and commercial real estate, is hiring skilled HVAC Tradesmen to join our growing business.

As an HVAC Tradesman you will:

• Perform mechanical installations and drive results under the direction of the Employer.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems, respond to basic warranty calls, and keep customers and contractors informed of job progress.
• Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facilities run efficiently, identify upselling opportunities, and prepare quotes to support recommendations.
• Mentor under peers and comply with the labor agreement.
• Adhere to the company Safety Program and maintain strong communication skills.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with HVAC equipment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self‑starter able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license with no major or frequent traffic violations.
• Willingness to join the UA of Plumbers and Pipe fitters.
• Position is a Bargaining Unit Position.

Hourly pay is determined by the CBA rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
