Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Structural Welders to join our team for industrial construction projects in Corpus Christi, Texas, and Louisiana. We have multiple openings across four different worksites, including three worksites in Corpus Christi and one worksite in Louisiana. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands‑on experience in structural welding and steel fabrication, with the ability to work independently while producing high-quality welds in accordance with industry standards and safety requirements.
Pay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, drawings, and job specifications.
- Perform structural welding on steel and other metal components using approved welding processes.
- Cut, fit, align, and assemble structural steel components according to project requirements.
- Operate welding machines, grinders, torches, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications.
- Perform basic fabrication and material preparation as required.
- Follow all company and job site safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain welding equipment, tools, and a clean, organized work area.
- Collaborate with supervisors and crew members to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Report safety concerns, equipment issues, and project delays to supervisors promptly.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Structural Welder in industrial, commercial, or construction environments.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, drawings, and measurements.
- Experience with structural steel welding and fabrication.
- Proficient in the operation of welding and fabrication equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
- Reliable, dependable, and safety-focused.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced construction environment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in physically demanding conditions for extended periods.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors when required.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel to assigned worksites as project needs require.
This position offers employment opportunities at four project worksites:
- Corpus Christi, Texas – Three (3) different worksites
- Louisiana – One (1) worksite
Candidates must be willing to work at any assigned location based on project and operational needs.
