NDE Technician - Level II

Turner Specialty Services, L.L.C. is looking for experienced NDE Technician - Level II for work in the Corpus Christi, TX area. Required duties are associated with NDE in accordance with the referencing code. Must be certified in Ultrasonic Thickness Testing (UTT) and Liquide Penetrant Testing (PT), at a minimum.

If you do not currently hold the certification, you must show certificate from classroom training and required field experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
• Must be certified in UTT and PT
• Must have RT-Level II Certification
• Per diem is not available for this position, local candidates preferred
• Must have valid drivers license
• Must have TWIC card
• Documentation needed: NDE classroom training records, OJT hours, past certifications, and resume

• Conducts NDT inspections in various methods.
• Interprets and reports results of inspections.
• Provide support to Level III.
• Instruct and/or supervise trainees
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Employee may be required to do the following: climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc.; reaching in all directions, handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movement of eyes, hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30-50 lbs. from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, etc.;

Salary: $35 - $50 per hour
