Paintless Dent Repair Technician (PDR Tech)
Onsite Dealer Solutions is seeking a full-time, detail-oriented Automotive Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) Technician to join our team. As a PDR Technician, you will be responsible for removing minor dents, dings, and other cosmetic damage from vehicle surfaces without the need for painting.
This position requires precision, technical skill, and attention to detail to restore vehicles to their original condition. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of professional Paintless Dent Repair experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, on-site dealership environment.
Depending on business and dealership needs, employees may be required to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Paintless Dent Repair Technician Job Details- Perform paintless dent repairs on cars, trucks, SUVs, and other vehicles.
- Assess the extent of vehicle damage and determine the appropriate repair technique.
- Use specialized PDR tools to massage and reshape metal panels.
- Repair dents, dings, creases, and other minor cosmetic damage.
- Ensure all repairs meet company quality standards.
- Inspect completed repairs to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Properly maintain and store tools and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding repair status and completed work.
- Stay current with PDR techniques, tools, and industry practices.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of proven professional Paintless Dent Repair experience REQUIRED.
- Proficiency with PDR tools and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repair methods.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs and priorities.
