Principal AI Scientist

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement state‑of‑the‑art Generative AI models (auto‑regressive, diffusion, discrete diffusion, hybrid SSM, etc.) that advance the state‑of‑the‑art in very small large language models. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including AI scientists, software engineers, and domain experts—to develop customized solutions that leverage LLMs/MLLMs. Innovate and enhance existing applications by integrating LLMs/MLLMs, ensuring optimal performance and speed even on resource‑constrained platforms. Stay fully abreast of the latest advancements, trends, and research in generative AI, conversational AI, and language modeling, actively incorporating new techniques, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance overall system performance.

• Extensive experience and mastery in developing LLM/MLLMs with proven commercial deployments and post‑deployment support.
• Strong programming skills in Python and ability to implement complex machine learning algorithms.
• Proven track record in developing conversational AI systems, successfully working with acoustic, language, and pronunciation models.
• Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving capabilities, and a collaborative mindset.
• Desirable: experience deploying models in different languages and on very small footprint devices.
