Salary: $17.00 per hour
The purpose of this position is to provide support services for the Cosmetology Program.
Minimum Qualifications- Texas CSME Operator license required.
- Three (3) years work experience in cosmetology.
- Knowledge of TDLR rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety in salon settings.
- Knowledge of record keeping.
- Professional verbal communications skills when communicating with students, staff and faculty.
- Associate’s degree in Cosmetology or related field.

Job Duties- Assist faculty in utilizing resources, materials, and educational technology to complement the teaching and learning process.
- Assists students in the proper and safe operation of a variety of tools and equipment.
- Assist faculty in maintaining student records / forms.
- Monitor Cosmetology laboratory when students are completing laboratory hours and services.
