Non-CDL Driver

Position Overview

Coleman Worldwide Moving has immediate openings for non-CDL driving positions. This full-service moving company seeks drivers to load, transport, and unload household goods. Compensation is $16.50 per hour, with potential incentives above hourly pay.

• Transport goods using a company truck.
• Lead the crew in loading and unloading shipments.
• Inspect shipments prior to loading for proper packing or wrapping.
• Perform accurate inventory of shipment.
• Assist with loading trucks or containers for interstate transport.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections on truck equipment and interior/exterior.
• Maintain required documentation, paperwork for shipments, expenses, driver logs, and DOT regulations.
• Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required;
  Real  driver’s license preferred.
• Must have a clean driving record and comply with a zero-tolerance drug policy.
• Willingness to travel locally, intrastate, and/or interstate.
• Ability to operate a box truck.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reliable and on time, able to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.

• Indoor and outdoor work.
• Lift objects up to 50 pounds; frequent squatting, bending, stair use.
• Long periods of driving.

• Full-time employees receive 40 hours of vacation pay after one year of employment.
