Marine Mates - 12/24 Hour Harbor Days

This company is seeking Mates and Mates In Training to join their marine operations in Corpus Christi, Texas. The Mate serves as the second deck officer, responsible for the safe navigation and operation of the vessel, and acts as the Officer In Charge of the Navigation Watch. Ideal candidates will have strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and the required maritime credentials.
This is a full‑time opportunity with competitive annual and daily pay rates.
- Annual salary up to $
- Daily pay rate: $329.60 for 12-hour harbor day, $659.20 for 24-hour harbor day

- U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) endorsed as Mate of Towing Vessels or Mate of vessels >200 GRT with completed TOAR
- Valid Radar Observer (unlimited) endorsement
- Valid TWIC issued by the TSA
- Ability to comply with Towing Safety Management System (TSMS) and all applicable regulations
- Ability to report unsafe conditions and implement stop work responsibility
- Physical ability to perform vessel operations and inspections
