As a Hydrovac Truck Operator at Pro-Vac, you will travel to various locations, build client relationships, and receive comprehensive training in operating Eductor/Vacuum/Pump trucks. Excellent customer service, self‑motivation, and problem‑solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications
  • Class A or Class B CDL driver with Tanker and Air Brake endorsements
  • Enjoy traveling
  • Positive, self‑motivated, self‑starter
  • Experienced Hydrovac truck operator eager to advance career
  • Pass drug, MVR, and background screenings
  • Willing to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and on‑call
  • Ability to lift 80 lbs and perform daily physical activity
Responsibilities
  • Traveling to job sites as required
  • Driving and operating equipment (Eductor/Vacuum/Pump trucks) safely and efficiently
  • Performing pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections
  • Maintaining job site and truck cleanliness, organizing tools and workspace
  • Demonstrating professionalism and excellence in customer relations
  • Practicing proper housekeeping and equipment control during operation
Physical & Working Conditions
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs; frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and working at heights
  • Standing and moving for extended periods; operating vehicles across varied terrain
  • Perceiving auditory safety signals, verbal warnings, and radio communications in active field environments
  • Wearing required PPE (OSHA‑compliant respirator, hearing protection, eye protection, gloves, safety footwear)
  • Reading site documentation and accurately operating equipment controls
  • Working outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and wet conditions
  • Maintaining situational awareness around active traffic, heavy machinery, and underground utilities
  • Working in confined spaces per applicable safety protocols
