R Local Delivery Driver (Class A w/Hazmat) (Open)

Pay & Schedule
: $25 per hour, Monday – Friday, Day Shift. Quarterly bonus potential.

Key Responsibilities
:

• Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to external and internal customer locations.
• Accurately record deliveries and pick‑ups on a load manifest, obtain customer signatures, and collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders for return to a plant or branch.
• Adhere to Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and all applicable regulations (DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, OSHA).
• Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed.

Qualifications
:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Card.
• Hazmat Endorsement and Airbrake certification.
• One year of prior Class B professional driving experience within the last five (5) years and a clean driving record (no more than two convictions, or two at‑fault accidents in the last three years; or a combination of one conviction and one at‑fault accident in the last three years).
• Alternatively, a diploma from an accredited driving school within the last 12 months and at least one year of prior driving experience within the last five (5) years.
• Minimum age 21 years.
• Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets.
• Ability to routinely lift 25–75 lbs and occasionally lift 76–125 lbs with material handling equipment.
• Forklift operator certification required.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime if necessary.
