Local Delivery Driver (Class A w/Hazmat)

• Cylinder Handling
  :
  Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to both external and internal customer locations.
• Record Keeping
  :
  Accurately record deliveries and pick-ups on a load manifest, obtaining customer signatures for receipt. Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling.
• Safety and Compliance
  :
  Adhere to all Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations, including those from DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA.
• Warehouse Support
  :
  Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Valid Medical Examiner's Card.
• Hazmat Endorsement & Airbrake certification.
• At least 1 year of prior Class B professional driving experience within the last 5 years and a clean driving record (no more than 2 convictions or 2 at‑fault accidents in the last 3 years, or a combination of 1 conviction and 1 at‑fault accident).
• College diploma from an accredited driving school within the last 12 months and a minimum of 1 year of prior driving experience within the last 5 years (alternative to experience).
• Must be at least 21 years or older.
• Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets.
• Ability to routinely lift 25‑75 lbs. and occasionally lift 76–125 lbs. with the aid of material handling equipment.
• Forklift operator certification.
• Ability to work occasional overtime if necessary.
