Swing Driver OFP

Overview

Delivery Route / Swing Driver (Delivery Driver) drives an Off Premise or On Premise route and efficiently delivers product to customers in a safe and timely manner that meets company standards while providing the highest standard of service to all accounts.

The role involves driving company vehicles in compliance with safety and DOT regulations and performing delivery tasks with professionalism.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 5:00am – 2:00pm or until the work is completed. Pay: starting at $23.25/hour. • Drive assigned Off Premise or On Premise routes, delivering product to customers on time and in a safe manner.
• Complete deliveries to scheduled accounts in accordance with Delivery Service Guidelines; adhere to federal, state, and local regulations for sale and merchandising of Andrews products.
• Load/unload and move product using appropriate equipment; maintain a clean, organized backroom in all retail accounts; comply with regulations for beer, malt beverages, spirits, and other beverages.
• Stock windows, coolers, displays, and shelves; rotate products to meet quality standards; follow Andrews service guidelines and Swap and Drop procedures as needed.
• Maintain documentation and submit reports for delivery information, damaged product, returns, and inventory control.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections; ensure all equipment is in good condition; comply with driving and safety regulations.
• Provide friendly, professional delivery service and support to customers; manage accounts and assist Delivery Assistant as required to ensure proper product handling and delivery.
• Coordinate with Sales team and District Delivery Manager to communicate issues, opportunities, and customer relationship needs.
• Lead and guide a team of Drivers and Delivery Assistants as needed to support daily delivery schedules and training.

• Communicate issues and opportunities with the Sales team (DSM or Account Manager) and District Delivery Manager.
• Collaborate with Hometown Sales team to support customer relationship building within each account.

• Required
  :
  Class A CDL License for Route and Swing Drivers
• Previous commercial driving experience
• Valid Texas Driver’s License
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Ability to perform in a physically demanding role daily and work in extreme weather conditions
• Ability to read and understand English; basic math and legible handwriting

• Preferred
  :
  High school graduate or equivalent; distribution business experience; intrastate driving experience; good communication skills; prior beer/spirits/CPG or retail/customer service experience; prior physically demanding work experience

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; push/pull loads up to 100 lbs depending on role
• Heavy repetitive lifting/placement of products (up to 55 lbs off premise, up to 165 lbs on premise)
• Ability to work in environments with variable temperatures; ability to work in noisy and crowded settings
• Driving required; frequent bending, stooping, squats, kneels, climbs; ability to use computers and company software
• Must maintain a current/valid driver’s license and regular attendance
