CDL Driver- Local and OTR

Overview

Coleman Worldwide Moving is seeking CDL drivers to load, transport, and unload household goods. This role offers the chance to lead moving crews, interact with customers daily, and grow within a full‑service moving company.

• Transport goods using a company truck.
• Lead the crew in loading and unloading shipments on and off the truck.
• Inspect shipments for proper packing or wrapping before loading.
• Perform accurate inventory of shipments.
• Assist with loading trucks and containers for interstate movement.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip safety inspections of truck, equipment, straps, tensioners, and walk boards.
• Maintain required documentation and paperwork for shipments, expenses, driver logs, and DOT regulations.
• Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Willingness to travel locally, intrastate, or interstate.
• Valid CDL with ability to operate a box truck or tractor‑trailer (as applicable).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reliability and punctuality; ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• High school diploma or GED required;
  Real , Commercial Driver’s License, or active driver’s license preferred.

• Indoor and outdoor tasks.
• Lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent squatting, bending, and stair use.
• Long periods of driving.

• Competitive hourly wage of $21 (depending on experience).
• Optional incentives above hourly pay for exemplary work.
• 40 hours of vacation pay after one year of employment.
