Order Selector Job Overview

An Order Selector in the Operations/Distribution Center team is responsible for building customer orders, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency to meet distribution center performance standards.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 4:00pm – 12:30pm, with occasional work nights, weekends and holidays as required.

Starting pay $19.50 per hour with potential to earn up to $30.75 per hour.

• Build customer orders efficiently using company equipment.
• Read and interpret pick tickets.
• Accurately verify all loads and inventory.
• Operate distribution center equipment safely and courteously.
• Maintain equipment certifications per company policy.
• Follow product handling procedures.
• Manage damaged product, returns, and dunnage.
• Keep work area clean and organized.

Note:

Work may include nights, weekends and holidays.

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Ability to read and interpret a warehouse pick ticket.
• Basic math comprehension.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Forklift and other DC equipment experience/certifications.
• Advanced time management and organizational skills.

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Pull/push loads up to 100lb.
• Heavy repetitive lifting up to 55lb. off‑premise; up to 165lb. on‑premise.
• Tolerate extreme temperatures and noisy environments.
• Drive vehicles during the workday.
• Perform bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing ladders.
• Use personal computer for email and data entry.
• Maintain valid driver’s license.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Work in compliance with safety policies and best practices.
