5/6 Teacher (Possible teaching principal) Sandia View Christian School in Corrales, NM

Sandia View Christian School (SVCS) is seeking a dedicated, experienced and highly energetic 5th/6th grade teacher (possible teaching principal) for the SY. Located in the small village of Corrales NM, 20 minutes north of Albuquerque and 50 minutes south of Santa Fe. SVCS is a mission‑minded school supported by the Corrales Seventh-day Adventist Church. With a student population of 80 and growing, SVCS is dedicated to reaching out to their community and introducing them to Jesus.

The school has a very active and growing preschool program that is a wonderful feeder to their school growth. If you are looking for a great working environment and student‑oriented group of teachers, this is the school for you!

Required Experience

This opening is for the school year and is a 10‑month assignment which starts July 1, 2026. (Teaching principal would be a 12‑month assignment) The candidate must be in regular standing with the Seventh‑day Adventist Church. The applicant must have the legal right to work and reside in the United States.

Elementary degree

Current NAD certification

Willing and able to post grades and progress reports for online access

Team player

Most importantly, the applicant must possess a love for God, a love for working with children, and a desire to see each child in Heaven.
