Experience preferred, however we will train the right person. This is a 2nd shift position with a 4-day (10 hours/day) workweek from Monday thru Thursday, 4pm
-2:30am. Recent base wage increase is ultra-competitive, and there's an additional $1/hour shift differential for this 2nd shift role.
Laminator Operators will be trained to operate multiple types of machinery including, but not limited to, chopping/blocking equipment and slitting machines. Under the direction of the Shift Supervisor, Laminator Operators are expected to work in a manner which promotes safety, quality, and efficiency to meet production goals.
Role and Responsibilities- Participate in Safety Recognition program, staying actively engaged in Safety.
- Follow ALL Safe work practices, LOTO, PPE, JHA's, Wait for the Wave, etc.
- Meet all quality standards and customer requirements.
- Skill and ability to meet or exceed production standards.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Maintain an orderly, safe, and clean work area.
- Ability to learn and safely perform well on multiple types of machinery.
- Work well in a team-based setting and communicate effectively with co-workers.
- Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
- Ability to learn and safely operate a Forklift.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Tape measure basic knowledge
