Robot Press Operator

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Set up and operate automatic press brakes and robotic systems to form metal components.
• Interpret detailed blueprints, job orders, and process sheets to determine correct dies and required dimensions.
• Adjust clamps, hold‑down bolts, and shims to achieve required tolerances and dimensional accuracy.
• Perform minor maintenance and routine preventive tasks on the equipment to ensure smooth operation.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products, often using forklifts or hand trucks.
• Monitor machinery (press brakes/robotics) for proper function and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy, dimensions, and quality standards.
• Complete necessary paperwork, including quality check sheets.

• Physical ability to walk, bend, push, pull, and stand for an entire ten‑hour shift, Monday through Friday.
• Experience with press brakes, robots, or similar machinery is highly valued.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read blueprints.
• Solid math skills and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• High level of focus on safety, quality, and precision.
• Teamwork skills to work well in a fast‑paced environment.
• Adherence to all safety protocols and maintenance of a clean work area.
