This position will be responsible for a variety of duties to pull and set molds, prepare auxiliary equipment, and set process parameters in preparation for job startup.
Include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain work areas in professional manner
- Prepare the press and mold for the next job
- Clean and prepare all auxiliary equipment
- Stage all materials and equipment prior to the setup of the next job
- Maintain the setup priorities on the dispatch list
- Minimize press downtime due to setup
- Complete setup/startup/job paperwork as required by ISO 16949
- Complete Line Clearance procedure
- Communicate with operators, process technicians, changeover, and quality assurance as to the status of the job
- Troubleshooting of process parameters on poorly performing jobs
- Startups as determined by the Supervisor
- Coverage for Process Technicians as required
- Perform housekeeping chores as department requirements dictate
- Attend training as required.
