We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support a precision machining environment in Corry, PA. This role focuses on optimizing production processes, improving product quality, and implementing efficient manufacturing solutions within CNC machining operations.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with hands‑on machining experience and a process improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities- Develop CNC programs using CAD/CAM software for lathes and milling machines
- Create engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation
- Establish time standards and optimize machining processes
- Develop efficient manufacturing methods to improve productivity
- Perform cost estimation based on RFQs, drawings, and specifications
- Track actual costs versus estimates in collaboration with accounting
- Support production with tool testing, setup, and process troubleshooting
- Coordinate implementation of new programs and provide training support
- Create and maintain process documentation including setup sheets and travelers
- Assist with R&D tracking and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with production, sales, and other cross‑functional teams
- Associate’s degree or higher in Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on machining experience
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes (lathes and mills)
- Experience with CAD/CAM systems
- Ability to develop manufacturing processes and perform cost analysis
- Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills
