Accountant Controller

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience within a dealership or inventory-based business.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Hands‑on experience managing inventory accounting and core accounting functions including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, General Ledger, and budgeting.
• Proficiency using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience supporting HR functions (such as payroll, benefits, or general HR administration) and willingness to work in a hands‑on, multi‑functional role.

• Manage all accounting operations including AR, AP, payroll, inventory, and general ledger.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
• Monitor cash flow, margins, and dealership performance metrics.
• Partner with ownership and leadership to guide financial decision‑making.
• Provide insights on profitability, cost control, and growth opportunities.
• Support pricing strategies and inventory planning with financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax requirements, and reporting standards.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls and processes.
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and financial institutions.
• Oversee floor plan financing and manufacturer reporting requirements.
• Monitor equipment inventory valuation and turnover.
• Support sales and service departments with financial insights and reporting.
