We’re seeking a skilled ICU RN to join a critical access hospital in Carlsbad, New Mexico
. This role guarantees 40 hours per week, offering stability and the chance to deliver high-quality care in a unique rural healthcare environment.

• Active New Mexico RN license (or compact, if applicable)
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Experience with vents, titratable drips, mixing medications, patient hygiene preferred
• Strong critical thinking, multi-patient management, and emergency response skills

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to critically ill patients
• Monitor, assess, and respond to rapid changes in patient conditions
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary staff
• Manage ventilators, drips, and advanced monitoring equipment
• Support patients and families through education and advocacy
• Maintain documentation in accordance with hospital and state standards
