We are looking to add a Mechanical Maintenance Assistant Supervisor to our growing Operations Department. The Mechanical Maintenance Assistant Supervisor is instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our organization’s pump systems. This role primarily supports the Mechanical Maintenance Team in overseeing the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pump systems, ensuring they function optimally and meet the organization’s operational needs.

• Assisting the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor in managing the daily operations and maintenance of pump systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitoring pump operation parameters and system performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet operational requirements.
• Conducting regular inspections and routine maintenance of pumps and related equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure longevity.
• Coordinating with the maintenance team to troubleshoot and repair pump system issues.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Training and guiding team members on proper pump operation, maintenance techniques, and safety protocols.
• Managing inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for pump maintenance and operation.
• Collaborating with other departments or teams to ensure that the pump systems meet the operational needs of the facility or project.
• Preparing and maintaining accurate records and reports on pump system performance, maintenance activities, and any incidents.
• Implementing continuous improvement strategies to enhance pump system efficiency, reliability, and safety.
• Providing support to the Pump Team Supervisor in project planning, scheduling, and execution as needed.
• Acting as a liaison between the pump team and other departments, external contractors, or suppliers to coordinate activities and resolve issues.

• Deep understanding of different types of pump systems (e.g., centrifugal, positive displacement) and their applications.
• Knowledge of routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair techniques for pump systems and associated equipment.
• Familiarity with safety standards and procedures related to the operation and maintenance of pump systems.
• Awareness of local, state, and federal regulations affecting pump system operations, including environmental and safety standards.
