Maintenance Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

* Hands on leadership of 5+ mechanics supporting 75 person facility equipped with multiple types of machinery

* Directs and assists team members with electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.

* Maintains inventory and oversees purchases of parts

* Establishes and adjusts work procedures and schedules to meet company demand

* Motivate and implement safety procedures, recognition, and accountability

* Collaborate with departmental managers to meet plant goals

* Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

* Collaborates on the root cause analysis of equipment failures and implements fixes.

* Coordinates preventative maintenance with the production planning staff.

* Receives and reviews maintenance requests and prioritizes maintenance activities based on urgency and availability of resources.

* Inspects equipment regularly to identify current and potential maintenance needs.

* Maintains records and documentation related to equipment and workforce

* Manages the work of technical maintenance staff, contractors, or subcontractors.

Minimum Qualifications for Consideration

* Education:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required, Associates preferred.

* Technical and mechanical knowledge and aptitude

* Experience:

General computer experience; organizational skills.

* 5+ years supervising others successfully

* Motivated team player capable of meeting tight deadlines
